Here's the thing that makes life so interesting.
The theory of evolution claims only the strong shall survive.
Maybe so, maybe so...
But the Theory of Competition says that, "Just because they're the strong doesn't mean they can't get their asses kicked."
See, what every longshot come-from-behind underdog will tell you is this: The other guy may, in fact, be the favorite.
The odds may be stacked against you, fair enough.
But what the odds don't know, is this isn't a math test.
This is a completely different kind of test.
One where passion has a funny way of trumping logic.
So before you step up to the starting line, before the whistle blows, and the clock starts ticking, just remember: Out here, the results don't always add up.
No matter what the stats may say, and the experts may think, and the commentators may have predicted; when the race is on, all bets are off.
Don't be surprised if somebody tries to flip the script, and take a pass on yelling "uncle!"
And then suddenly, as the old saying goes,
"We got ourselves a game."

jus' a few things about me~
i have a massive stubborn streak. i find stupidity quite annoying. i also quite hate arrogance and horn-honkers. as well as slobs, litterers, and animal abuse. i have a tendency to speak my mind, especially if i find what someone is doing to be stupid (such as ^).
if you read that giant jumble of jargon you probably think i'm some kind of anti-social, stubborn person. that's true to an extent, but what usually happens when you get on my amazing side is pure magic. i'm quite social, actually, and like an extrovert i thrive on company, but i don't quite "know" how to initiate conversation. i'm a very friendly person that loves laughing and people or things that make me laugh. i also have my own twisted sense of humor but most people have a tendency to not "hear" me. to describe me, i'd probably say that i'm shy on the outside and surprisingly bold and confident on the inside. unfortunately, i believe i've got nerve problems, so it makes it hard for me to do nerve-wracking things... i have a tendency to humble myself so when others don't it makes me kind of mad. i'm easy to talk to and am therefore a good vent, but be ready to hear about my problems too. that's what friends do, after all.
i play video games on ps3, going by the name of meerkatmob (hence the name meerkat everywhere). i ride horses in real life (english style) and i love it. besides riding, i work as a cit (counselor-in-training) during the summer. i'm in civil air patrol, and am currently a c/2dlt. i'm the squadron's cadet public affairs and drug demand reduction officer. my dream is to go into the military, most likely the air force. i love engineering and health, so therefore i am looking into bioengineering. my other dream is to own my own farm, with a horse riding lesson program, and another part of the farm for racehorses that i own, train, and breed. if you can't already tell, thoroughbred horse racing is mah sport. i enjoy drawing & photography, and i occasionally write when i feel inspired enough. i also like reading books on practically every subject. besides all that, i do swimming and kung fu.
if this all sounds fine n' dandy to you we might be able to get on the same terms. i don't hold grudges and am open and friendly to all if given the chance.
